I’ve written so much, yet I haven’t described my current situation (though most people who would read this probably already know). It just so happens that today I’m in the mood to do some chronicling, haha…

To summarize, I’m currently on break between studying abroad, and I expect to return to Malaysia for school at the end of January. The education system I’m in is the Australian VCE—you can look it up online. My “Gaokao” (college entrance exams, so to speak) will be in October next year, which means while my former classmates are liberated, I’ll still be toiling away. As for my studies… same as always, I suppose.

I went abroad in April; I learned the news just a few weeks before I started writing this series. The main reasons are “those who know, know,” and for those who don’t, I can’t explain them here—otherwise, this post would end up like the missing “Diary-3”. I returned to China just a few days ago, right when I resumed this series. Unfortunately, no trip to Hangzhou was arranged… perhaps I can go back and visit during a small holiday in the future.

Only now that I’ve written this far do I realize it’s mostly riddles, but anyway, not many people are reading this, right? When I started writing, I didn’t expect that I would treat these words as a spiritual successor to “Boring Notes” (some stuff I wrote back in junior high when I had nothing better to do). But since it can serve that purpose, why not leave a trace of someone named “Zhuge Tianyao” in this vast corner of the internet.
