When I got home last night, I realized I couldn’t find my house key. I was thinking of retracing my steps from yesterday to search everywhere, but this morning, I found it safe and sound right at the coffee shop! The sudden relief made me sit in the cafe for another whole morning (
So there really isn’t much to write about today, other than working on biology and writing a Write-up (anyway, even if I write it out, no one will understand it, sad). If I must say something, it would be that I was singled out tonight to give a presentation, sharing my experience using AI, like how to write prompts. Thinking back, these skills were probably honed during the translation process of the Omnibus—things like being polite to the AI, stating requirements clearly, knowing the limits of contextual memory, and so on. My friend had a good opinion of my assignment, though it is highly likely because everyone else was complaining about how hard it was, while I actually came up with some real stuff (even though it was a very, very rough draft with many areas needing improvement).
Even after waking late, I insisted on going for a run and tested the bone-conduction headphones along the way. The result was deeply satisfying. During harder movement they make a clack-clack, as if the speaker were not mounted properly, but nothing can defeat that absurd value for money! My running park even contained a Premium-only cache—the kind that does not appear when I simply open the app—and I found it this morning. Its hiding place deserves special mention: directly beneath the metro tracks. The roar swelled from the distance, passed overhead, and faded away, carrying a strange sense of oppression. This was an ancient (?) cache from 2011; its container had rusted badly and the logsheet was falling apart. Next run, I need to bring a roll of tape.
Only now as I write have I realized that this entry doesn’t seem to be in chronological order. Oh well, I don’t want to change it; I haven’t even finished my Write-up for the Hundred Clubs War yet…
