After eating lamb chops at noon, I had a sudden whim to set off early and do some treasure hunting near my destination. Checking on the subway, holy cow, there was actually a park nearby with 7 caches inside! It could easily be called a budget version of the Olympic Forest Park! The key point is that this so-called “Zhongguancun Park” is not well-known, qualifying as a “niche camping holy land” where you can not only ride bikes directly inside, but even park for free!

My bicycle flew. Armed with experience from earlier hunts, GPS, and a spoiler photo, I speedran three caches in this little park. Just as I smugly prepared to clear the entire map in one go, the next location put me in my place. After searching in vain, I could only leave “I shall return” in the log and hurry off to the event.

Ah, the amount I can write in one day really is conserved. Yesterday it was the Puzzle Association recruitment write-up; today it was the Christmas Hunt write-up. My body is already boroboro da! Bed!
